Campus ERP software is usually sold as a list of modules, which tells you very little on its own. What matters is what each one removes from somebody’s day, and whether they all read the same student record.
DigiERP covers eighteen modules in three groups. Here is what each group actually does.
Core academics
Admissions and student registration. Enquiry, application, merit list, seat allotment and enrolment. The application becomes the student, so nothing is typed a second time.
Student information. The single record every other module reads — personal details, programme, branch, category, and a dated enrolment history rather than a column that gets overwritten.
Academics and curriculum. Programmes, versioned curricula and subject allocation, so a student keeps the syllabus of their admission year even after it changes for new intakes.
Attendance. Recorded against enrolment, not a separate list, so a branch change is reflected without anyone editing a register.
Examinations and grading. Forms, marks entry, results and transcripts, working from the same enrolment as fees and attendance.
Timetable. Sections, subject teachers and rooms, built on the offerings the academics module already holds.
Campus operations
Fee management. Structures per course and category, instalments, concessions, late fines, receipts, and payments taken online or over the counter — all landing on the same student.
Accounts and finance. Collection against target, heads, refunds and reconciliation, so the money side agrees with the student side by construction.
Library. Issue and return tied to the student record, so dues and clearances are visible where they matter.
Hostel. Rooms, allotment and hostel fees, administered alongside academics rather than in a separate book.
Transport. Routes, stops and transport fees on the same record.
Student and parent portal. Attendance, marks, dues, receipts and notices, visible without telephoning the office.
Communication. Notices and alerts to students, parents and staff, addressed from live enrolment rather than an exported list.
One Platform. Complete Institution Management.
Governance and compliance
HR and staff records. Teaching and non-teaching staff, qualifications and departments.
Payroll. Salary processing built on the same attendance and leave data.
Leave and approvals. Applications and sanctions recorded rather than remembered.
Reports and MIS. Institution-wide figures on demand — the part that turns a three-week collection exercise into a screen.
Roles and permissions. Who can see and change what, per campus, which is what makes a university with affiliated colleges workable in one installation.
Why they are not sold separately
Every module left outside the system becomes a department keeping its own register, which is precisely the problem an ERP exists to remove. That is why all eighteen are included in DigiERP’s single flat annual maintenance contract, with unlimited student, staff and parent accounts.
The order you switch them on is a different question — admissions first, then fees, then the portal, then HR.
